Sister Barbara’s legacy of leadership, excellence, and service has touched the lives of hundreds—if not thousands—throughout her remarkable lifetime. A proud graduate of Dominican University, Class of 1962, she dedicated many years to shaping the future of the university. As Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Director of Student Development from 1969 to 1983, Director of the Division of Teacher Education from 1989 to 1993, and later as Coordinator of Freshman Registration and Mathematics Professor from 2010 to 2013, Sister Barbara’s commitment to her students and the university never wavered. Even after her retirement, she remained a steadfast member of the Board of Trustees, always working toward the growth and success of Dominican University.

In honor of her devotion, we invite you to contribute to the newly established Sister Barbara Werner Scholarship. Your generous gift will help continue Sister Barbara’s mission to support future generations of students, just as she did for so many.
