English Specialization in Humanities

The English specialization in Humanities requires 18 semester hours in English beyond any courses taken in GEC and the Humanities Core. The student’s total work in English (from GEC, the Core, and the Area of Specialization) should include at least one course in (a) world literature, (b) British literature, (c) American literature, (d) Shakespeare.
